I am a lifelong Alaskan, born and raised in ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø. I have had the pleasure of serving students and families for 23 years in the ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø School District. I started out teaching Physical Education at the elementary and middle school level for about 12 years. In 2007, I earned my Masters degree in Counseling Psychology and worked with students mostly at separate day schools for about 8 years. I had the opportunity to come back to Mears Middle School in 2020 as one of their counselors and then moved into the Assistant Principal position during the 22-23 school year. I enjoy the outdoors with my family. You can see us often on the bike trails, skiing or snowboarding, and fishing on the Kenai.
